Ed Morrissey posted an interesting letter that seems to correspond to my earlier posting about the deceit involved in the Democrat’s agenda for these healthcare policies. My contention is that they have no desire to “help” the current system at all but want it eliminated only to have a single payer system implemented.
This time the evidence comes from Jack Layton, leader of Canada’s New Democratic Party (NDP), an extremely liberal group even by Canadian standards. Layton’s office sent an email newsletter informing his membership that he was flying to D.C. to “help President Obama in his fight for universal health care.”

Morrissey wonders why this ultra liberal from Canada is doing this? Why would Layton, a man that wants to eliminate the insurance industry and force all doctors to work for the government, be coming down to “help” Obama if Obama weren’t signing onto Layton’s premise about healthcare? Layton is “even too socialist for Canada” yet Obama is welcoming his “help” with open arms!
It does not bode well for U.S. that’s for sure but if Obama is welcoming this ultra left viewpoint from a foreign country to join his effort, it certainly speaks to his ultimate goal, wouldn’t you say?
