Atlanta Tea Party’s Forced Cancellation

In Atlant, GA on July 4th there was predicted to be a huge turn out for the Tea Party, but that all changed a few days before the event when an Obama Supporter and donor was able to get the owners of the location of the event to withdraw the location forcing the cancellation of the event.  The last event in Atlanta on April 15, had 20,000 attendees, this kind of attendance in a primarily African-American city in the South does not bode well for Obama supporters in Georgia.  So this scared a few people in the area.  With that kind of attendance for the April 15th event, July 4th was expected to be a large event.  But as the staging of the cancellation occurred, shady things began to pop-up. In a press release released by The Atlanta Tea Party:

“It is unfortunate the event had to be canceled,” said Julianne Thompson, event co-organizer. She continued, “The old Macy’s building is on private property, and not owned by Simon Malls, however the mall manager asked the property owner and I to come in the office on Thursday of this week, and told us Simon does not want political events on it’s property. They were also concerned about the fact we were using the term “protest.” Although the event was on private property, the mall was able to assert authority on the matter due to recipricol property easement agreements.”

But James Hyde of the Examiner.com decided that it sounded suspicious so he investigated it more finding that the Simon Mall Company does in fact own the property in question.  Which led to the next question on Hyde’s mind, Who did they bring in as the fake owner? and the question on mine, Why?

In addition to that, WorldNetDaily points out some very interesting facts about the Simon Mall company regarding President Obama:

  1. Gwinnett Place Mall shut down the Atlanta Tea Party.
  2. Simon Property Group owns Gwinnett Place Mall.
  3. Melvin Simon (a Forbes 400 billionaire) is co-chairman of Simon Property Group, Inc.
  4. Melvin Simon has provided large political contributions to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Al Franken, John Edwards, the DNC and many other Democrats and Democrat organizations.
  5. Melvin Simon was a major contributor to Barack Obama’s inaugural committee and has given at least $1 million to the William J. Clinton foundation.
  6. Melvin’s wife, Bren, personally donated almost $100,000 to various political candidates, was a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid and contributed to President Obama’s inaugural committee.

Now no one is faulting the Simon Mall Company for any of these things except for the cancelling of the Tea Party Event.  This only goes to show that the Tea Parties are making a difference, and with attendance high across the Nation, it also tells us that they are really getting their word out and doing something that the Pro-Obamacare people don’t want: they are educating the masses on what Obamacare really is, not the fluffy fake part the politicians are trying to feed them.
